FAQ
How can I contact you concerning my project?
You can either submit a free quote request , which then will be processed by our manager, or you can contact us directly.
What is your time zone? When are you available?
Our time zone is +2 GMT. That means when we start our workday, the time is: New York - 2 am London - 7 am Toronto - 2 am Berlin - 8 am Paris - 8 am Canberra - 6 am Tokyo - 4 pm
We are available from 9 am till 9 pm, 5 days a week (and sometimes on weekends).
How do you charge for the work you do?
We charge per hour. After learning the requirements, we compose a brief project specification, with the milestones and duration of each stage. The price is calculated out of the duration in hours and is negotiable. Review our hourly prices.
What about tech support and maintenance?
We adhere to the opinion that a developer that refuses to support his code is not worthy of credit. We fix all the bugs that may occur in our software or websites absolutely for free. If some updates or changes are requested after or during development, we calculate their duration in hours, and add to the price of the project.
As for websites: we include a comprehensive content management system and administrative tools of our own design to all web sites that we deliver. So usually it is very simple to do the changes on them without our help. But if you need additional support, it can be arranged on an hourly basis (see our prices).
What kinds of payment do you accept?
You can buy using your credit card at our authorized retailer, 2Checkout.com, PayPal (for small amounts), through wire transfer and Western Union.
Do you include taxes in the fee for your work?
No, we don't include taxes. That's why offshore programming and outsourcing is so cost effective.
What does the word "creative" in your company name mean?
Creativity is the concept of our team. We always treat a new task as a challenge. We don't sell someone's ready know-hows, we create our own. We strive to find the best solution for a particular problem, and enjoy brain-storms and online discussions with our customers.
Who will own the copyright to the software you develop?
We develop custom software and web sites. The copyright always belongs to the customer, unless discussed another way. We don't attach our sources to binaries though, because we treat them as our intellectual property. But this can be arranged for an additional fee.
We don't sell the software that we have developed for the customers, unless they ask us to be official resellers.
Can WellDone be outsourced for the project that is made by another company?
Yes. We encourage other IT-related companies to involve us in their development process. We are interested in the exchange of experience.
Do you supply your products with documentation?
Yes, we create a help file for Windows applications, and readme and doc files for web sites and other projects. If a project has a sophisticated architecture, we may issue a CD with help files and multimedia instructions. CD is then sent by regular mail or express mail (FedEx, UPS).
How do you test your work?
We have 2 testers that test programmers' work fulltime. We test every application on all Windows platforms (unless the project has platform-specific requirements, discussed with a customer).
I liked one of your previous projects. I feel like I need the same. Can you sell it to me?
Nope. The copyrights always belong to that customer who ordered the software. But good thing - we can develop the same one for you using our experience in this subject. Not "copy'n'paste", but reasonable reuse of our knowledge. And it'll take much less time and will be very stable. So, contact us for details.
